Who we are

Established in 1982, with support from Global Health Action, USA, the International Services Association -INSA-India is committed to the vision of “Health Development for Emerging Nations”. As a trainer organization INSA India offers training opportunities for all levels of staff working in registered community based organizations addressing health and development issues. INSA is one of the leading organizations in pioneering work of HIV/AIDS prevention education. As a result of training and unique follow-up services, successful health and development programs that are culturally appropriate and cost effective have been established in remote, rural and urban areas of India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

What we believe

  • Health is a basic right of every human being.
  • Integrating gender is essential for sustainable health and development of communities.
  • Educating women is essential for happy and healthy families.
  • Adolescents are the future of any society but emotionally vulnerable and therefore educating and making them aware of health and development issues equips the nations for a better tomorrow.
  • Basic awareness is NOT enough. Proper education and follow-up is integral to training in health and development programs

INSA India is a secular, non-profit, non-governmental organization, which is registered as a Society and a Trust in India.
