INSA-India application for accreditation to the High-level Meeting on HIV/AIDS (HLM) has been favorably acted upon by the United Nations General Assembly.

The communication from Director UNAIDS New York individually to both the INSA Directors Ms. Florence Jasmine David and Ms. Edwina Pereira vide Reference:HLM 2008/CS/61-1 May 1, 2008 "" I have the pleasure to confirm your participation in the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this meeting is to review progress towards the implementation of the 2001 Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS and the 2006 Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS. You are pre-registered as part of the delegation of an organization whose application for special accreditation has been approved by the United Nations General Assembly. The High-level Meeting will be held on 10 – 11 June 2008 in New York. I would like to suggest that you arrive early to participate in the related preparatory civil society meetings on 9 June 2008.
